Can I get a teacher certification with bachelor in accounting?

I have a bachelors degree in accounting. I would like to become a teacher of elementary school in Maryland. Can I simply get a teaching certification of 2 years or something at a community college? Or have to get a whole 'nother bachelors degree in education? I tried to find this answer but found none specific to my situation. Thanks for the help!
