Whats the best to help my horses beat the heat?

I have 2 Thoroughbreds a 6 chestnut year old mare and the other is a 4 year old brown gelding. I live in Surprise, Arizona and its getting hotter. I know its preferable to feed them extra forage rations to help keep them warm during cold weather. Are there any feeding strategies to help keep them cool during hot weather?
