Cut really deep and swollen on iguana's back arms.?

My boyfriend has this iguana name dino. Dino hasn't got hurt but we noticed yesterday he has two deep holes in the back of both arms pretty deep to the point where his arms are a little swollen. One of the cuts bleed a little. Is this a sign of any disease he might be getting?
