I drew several characters for use on buisness cards and postcards...who owns the rights to the artwork?

From my knowlege, she purchased the rights to use your art work for the purposes stated, however she did not purchase full license rights which normally can only be signed over with a contract. So unless you stated in the contract that you handed over legal licensing rights to her/ her company you have legal power over the original designs.
