What does it mean when you have differential shutter when the transmission is cold?

It may have something to do with the viscosity of the fluid when warm or cold. I don't care what they say, the colder oil will have higher lethargy or viscosity. Makes it harder to shift in cold weather because the synchros are all gummy.
