Does it mean anything when a guy asks your opinion on little things?

I would say that he looks up to you for some reason.....or may be he is just a guy who is polite enough to ask a girl he LIKES about little things.....It is kinda rare for a guy to ask a girl all these things.. Is that guy very protected by his mom at home...so much that he is not able to make any decisions for himself....that could be an other reason...
