Energy and food during a workout???
Proteins will give you energy and some carbs will but watch out for simple carbs make sure they are whole grain. Be sure you are eating some healthy foods every 2-3 hours. Watch the refined sugars and get some carbs and protein. Watch out for fried foods and foods with high fat content. Labels can tell you a lot. If sugar, corn syrup, fructose are in the top 3-5 ingredients then you are getting empty calories and that isn't good. Lots of snacky fruits and vegetable are good, granola is good, protein bars. You need to change your eating habits even if you need to pack yourself a snack box for during the day. Pack it full of nutritional foods. Remember some nutritional foods every 2-3 hours to keep your blood sugar levels where they should be.
