In term of prize money, a champion at tennis tournament e.g. Wimbledon get more than a million dollar while in badminton, e.g. All England the champion get as much as USD 16K and in squash tournament the winner just get around USD 10K. Why is it so much different? Is it because those sports does not as popular as tennis or just because it being dominated by Asian players?

Ticking/knocking noise from tires? engine? snow and ice?

have an 04 mountaineer and started to hear a ticking noise, speeds up when i do and slows down when i do. it drives fine steering wheel doesnt shake no wobbly feelings. at first i thought it was a flat tire but wasnt so i thought maybe theres ice in the tire but i keep in in the garage at night and it gets to be almost 40 degrees. for the past week i have heard it everyday. my husband just did the brakes and rotors and calipers ball joints tie rod ends and fixed a rear axle seal. unfortunately he's in the army and they took him away from me again so i have no help on this. we're in upstate new york and it does get to be well below zero most nights so maybe it could be ice, i don't know. i will be checking this question frequently so if you can help me but need more info just ask and i will edit. thanks so much in advance for any and all help!!

Suicide by shotgun to the heart?

I have a question...someone I know commited suicide by shooting themselves with a shotgun to the heart. How is this possible.If you know the length of a shutgun, then you see why I am puzzled. There is more to the story..he was an accused child molester...so it leaves the door open for suicide but I suspect murder as well...because the police did not investigation..it was open/closed...and the coroner report actually states that he was dead by a self inflicted gunshot wound to the heart, however were unable to determine how he did it? (summing it up in my words)....which to me condradicts what the actual cause of death is. SO is it possible & please explain how & why?? or is this more of a homicide that was covered by the taboo accusations that surrounded him??

I bought a house, seller didn't disclose plumbing issue in garage, I need to know what to do about it.?

The garage has a sink and urnal in it. It looks like they are hooked up to the public sewer system. I had a home inspection and they did not see it was messed up and previous owners failed to mention this. I found out later that it drains into a big pit in the ground. I think this is illegal and one question on disclosure asks if anything is illegal on the property. I dont have a lot of money to higher a lawyer. But want to make them fix it. What should I do? My little brother got a survival kit and it came with three days worth of food rations (mayday bars). This got me thinking, If I just wanted to eat the cheapest thing I can eat for the rest of my life, what would that be. Whats the most healthy calories I can get out of my dollar? A couple night ago I woke up to my right arm pit being sore. Now I do get these every once in a while especially when I'm out in the sun in the summer time. I made it through the "interview" or what I was getting confused about. Aikido is a great Art to study. The techniques are natural movements, that are very effective. Yes it does depend on what style of Aikido you take for practical purposes. I have trained and studied 2 types of Aikido they are Tomiki and Shinbu those 2 are very good at street fights and yes I have had to use it on the street several times. While I was a patrol officer,at the mall,walmart etc... you get out of what you put into it.I am not saying this just to be a billy bad a$$ but I will put Shinbu Aikido up against any style out there period. Thought I would share some old school with the youngsters on here. Back in the 70's it was a craze among cops in the Southwest to create "zebra" guns out of their revolvers. have used and windows media player for a long time and like it, but I downloaded vlc so that I could watch a video that wouldn't play on WMP. It ended up changing every video I had loaded on my computer to VLC media files. I have a regular DSi and it is awesome. I also downloaded Flipnote studio which is cool because you can make flipnotes frame by frame, or view other peoples. They are hilarious and you can save them to your DS system or to your SD card. I recommend you get the regular DSi and not the DSi XL because all you pay for is a couple inches bigger which is actually harder because you can't fit it in your pocket or other small places for easy transportation. Proteins will give you energy and some carbs will but watch out for simple carbs make sure they are whole grain. Be sure you are eating some healthy foods every 2-3 hours. Watch the refined sugars and get some carbs and protein. Watch out for fried foods and foods with high fat content. Labels can tell you a lot. If sugar, corn syrup, fructose are in the top 3-5 ingredients then you are getting empty calories and that isn't good. Lots of snacky fruits and vegetable are good, granola is good, protein bars. You need to change your eating habits even if you need to pack yourself a snack box for during the day. Pack it full of nutritional foods. Remember some nutritional foods every 2-3 hours to keep your blood sugar levels where they should be.

It depends on what route you want to go down, Network+ will give you the necessary understanding of whats involved on that front. I did the same thing and ended up veering towards the security side, im now a very well paid IT Security consultant. I know though, that even only having the basics, CCNA and Network+, you can still get a job, albeit a low paid junior position. I'm not a lady but I can tell you it is illegal to threaten you and menace you. Most newer digital cameras and higher end cell phones can take movies I would leave one in the glovebox with an extra set of batteries to doent your next encounter. The popping out of your hip is the most likely source. Take tylenol or aleve, and you need to begin exercises your hip muscle (flexors, abductors, adductors, and extensors) to prevent the joint from popping out. Get with a physical therapist or just google hip strengthening exercises and start with those, but only after you beging knocking out the inflammation. You also could have some SI joint instability. A physical therapist or a chiropractor could adjust this for you

Chest pain?

Chest pain on right side when i cough and sometimes when i breathe in deep or turn my back. Chest pain near my sternum when i fully exhale or press with my fingers (not touch - i mean press a little). Last but not least I sometimes get pain in my chest on the left side (can be upper chest/lower chest, pain can "come and go"). It doesn't seem effort related. I have had simptoms like this since june. Cardiologist sais my heart is ok. (2 ekgs and 2 cardiologists). Blood tests normal - just a small lack in calcium. I have some problems with my thoracic spine (a lot of time at the office) and some back pain/arm. I had a mild pneumonia in august..(treated that one :) ). Still i don't know what to say about my pain. Any ideas? I'm 22 years old. I'm fit and athletic. I don't smoke and I'm fairly active. Any ideas? I intend to do an abdominal echography after this short holiday. Still...i would really appreciate your help.

I have a new GE fridge, and the freezer gets above 32 during defrost mode. The repair man says that's normal?

I have a new GE GTH18DCRVLBB, and I noticed that the ice freezes together every few days, not to mention frozen pops would be mushy and ruined.. I put a wireless thermometer in the freezer and found that, while the temp was usually around 0-5, it went over 32 degrees everyday or so--sometimes all the way up to 40. The repair man who came replaced the new thermometer, but told us due to new energy star standards, that freezers now go through rapid defrost, where they can easily reach these temperature, and there was nothing we could do about it. He recommended putting bottles of water against the back wall to defend the rest of the freezer during daily defrost cycles. It sounded to me a lot like he was full of it(a freezer should keep things frozen), but I was wondering if anyone else could give me an educated opinion.

I was in the school musical, but I was also taking a drama cl. The director of the musical who was also my teacher wanted me to try on some costumes during cl. so I had gone to the bathroom and put on a skirt and blouse and left everything else in the bathroom. I looked quickly online and couldn't find anything close you what you were interested in. My best suggestion would be to contact YouTube, tell them your underage child's images/videos have been uploaded to the site by (insert username), and ask them to have those images removed. You cannot sue YouTube, as it were, because they are just providing the space, not verifying the content. You can, however, talk with them personally about getting those taken down. If the person uploads the videos a second time, you could talk to YouTube about banning the person. Your third option is to contact the user directly and ask them politely to edit out your child from the content they have posted. Keep in mind that this will vary if it is a situation where your e-school child was inadvertantly caught in a video by an adult or if it was a high school teen videotaped by a friend. If your child is older I'd recommend talking to them first about the video, unless of course they don't want it up there either. If it's an enemy of the child, work with YouTube about banning the member, since the video/images a probably going to be more malicious then if it is a friend who has posted material. I see Romeo and Juliet as a dramatic satire disguised as a love story. My reasoning is that the "love" between Romeo and Juliet is based off of infatuation, and their actions on irrationality.
